A Glimpse At What We Do

Resource Estimation


Mining Insights have prepared a resource model and JORC Resource Statement to support 6 mtpa coal mine for a mine mouth power plant in South Sumatra, Indonesia.

Reserve  Estimation


Mining Insights' consultants have been involved in preparation of detailed life of mine  (LOM) plans, Production Scheduling and JORC 2012 Reserves Estimate for five (5) large coal deposits producing over 16 Mtpa located in Kalimantan and Sumatra Province, Indonesia for listing on SXG Main Board, Singapore.​​

Feasibility Studies


Mining Insights' consultants work included full ‘cradle to grave’ solution including Geological modelling and JORC Resource estimation, followed by Prefeasibility Study and JORC Reserves Statement up to the point of bankable feasibility study work across a portfolio of coal projects at various stages of development in Poland.

Valuation


Mining Insights’ consultants have been engaged by one of the largest Indonesian mining company to prepare an Independent Qualified Person’s Report (“IQPR”) comprising of JORC 2012 complaint Coal Resources, Reserves and Independent Valuation Report ("IVR") as per VALMIN 2015 code for its five mining concession with total operating capacity of 15 Mtpa. This Public Report was used to list these assets at Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX). The valuation of asset was assigned at US$2.2 bn.

    Due Diligence

    Mining Insights’ consultants completed a comprehensive due diligence on a large Coal Mining Asset in Bowen Basin, Queensland, Australia for a large steel production for potential investment. The aim of this assignment was to provide a detailed technical and financial assessment of the project.​​

        Marketing Assessment


        Mining Insights’ consultants completed a detailed market study to support information memorandum for USD150M bond funding to support coal mining company. The study also included assessment of Global Demand of thermal coal, Coal Supply from Australia and Indonesia including new projects, including current and future export volumes.
